Introduce your student to the invention and engineering process. They will evaluate competing design
solutions using a systematic process to determine how well they meet the criteria and constraints of the problem.

This program was built to encourage further exploration into ideas, objects and inventions they use on a daily basis that they may otherwise not think about.

Introduce your student to the NGSS LS2.A (Interdependent Relationships to Ecosystems.) They will take part in an interactive program that involves dissection of a flower, and an experiment that shows how plants take in water. This program was built to encourage further exploration into how plants fit into the broader ecosystem and our food chain.

Grades K-3:

Emphasizing the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle principles. By designing, building, and maintaining a vermicomposting bin, students will be introduced to a variety of topics, including how nutrients are recycled in an ecosystem, how humans can create less waste, and the biology and habitat requirements of the organisms that make this all possible.
